Dr. Smiljana Petrovic, Computer Science, published the book chapter “Learning a Mixture of Search Heuristics” in the book Autonomous Search (Hamadi, Monfroy, Saubion (Eds.)), Springer, 2012 (ISBN 978-3-642-21433-2) with coauthor Dr. Susan Epstein from CUNY.

Dr. Josh Klein, Criminal Justice, delivered a paper on "The Socio-Politics of Economic Security Imaginings" at The 2012 Eastern Sociological Society Mini-Conference on Sociology of Security on February 25.

He also presented a paper on "The Social Construction Of State-Corporate Crime" at the 2012 Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences annual meeting on March 14.
