Dr. Jillian Flood, Psychology, collaborated with school psychology students Marissa Albano, Ashwini Puttaswamy and Natalie Wykowski on a research project entitled “Student Experience in School Psychology Graduate Programs.” Their work was presented in poster format at the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Annual Convention in Philadelphia, PA on February 24, 2012.

James Hurley, a Political Science senior, is attending a prestigious conference at Stanford University, AMENDS. He is one of 40 students from around the world to be accepted. The conference is geared toward facilitating dialogue among students from the west and Middle East.  Click for more information.

Maureen McNulty has completed an independent study course that enabled her to assistant direct a production The Neverending Story at The Iona Grammar School. Maureen is a theatre arts minor and connected her learning in the program here at the college with a practical application of her skills and knowledge in this production.

Alanna Chan, FPA Minor, Dance, Class of 2013, choreographed/ performed Dance work, Attraction, developed through an Independent Study in Choreographic Process. It was performed on April 26 in the Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium, and FPA Studio Showing:Reprise on May 3.

Cara George, Senior, received one of the very prestigious Teach for America Fellowships. She'll be teaching in NY city.
Jay B. Koven, received a full-time Research Assistantship in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Polytechnic Institute of NYU.
Emma Ames, senior social work student, was inducted into Delta Epsilon Sigma.
Special Education graduate students under the direction of Dr. Zakierski are providing religios instruction for students with special needs at Sts. John & Paul Church on Wednesday evenings and Saturday morning every week.
