Message from the Dean

One of my initial priorities in coming to the Dean's Office was to increase the flow of communication across the School of Arts and Science and to showcase the work of the students and faculty. In the fall, we produced the first two SAS newsletters. This spring, thanks to the hard work of the IT Department, we are introducing a new web-based, electronic newsletter format. The goal of the SAS Newsletter is to highlight activities going on in departments across the School.   Read more »

April 20: Undergraduate Research Day

Our 3rd Annual Undergraduate Research Day is on Friday, April 20, 2012 in the Hynes Athletics Center, 12-2:30 pm. Rep. Nita Lowey will be on campus to celebrate our students' work. This Spring's Rudin/Driscoll Scholar, Rev. Dr. Derrick Harkins, will speak on “Faith, Values and the Public Square”. Join us Monday, April 23, 2012 at 3:30 pm in the Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium. Call for Proposals

The Council on the Arts is currently accepting proposals from the Iona Community for financial and programming sponsorship of arts events for the 2012-2013 season. The deadline to submit is March 9, 2012. The proposal form is located here.
