On several Wednesdays
during each semester, we leave the classroom to explore pastoral and city
settings within a day's drive and sometimes beyond. We invite you to experience
with us the wonders of New York and surrounding states, to go behind closed
doors and high walls and into secret gardens.
Our trips frequently coordinate with LIRIC lectures, but occasionally
do not. However, they always include a treat for your palate. Trips that
combine intellectual stimulation and great fun are the goal.
Space is limited, so members receive first priority. Information about
fall trips and registration forms will be sent to all members after the
open house. Please remember to register early as our trips fill up quickly.
Coordinators:
- Dorothy Petix
- Lucretia Mancuso
