The Iona College Summer Camps Programs offer a wide variety of sports and recreational activities to keep your child engaged all summer. From traditional camp activities, like basketball, soccer, and swimming to more creative interests involving music, dance and arts and crafts.

To all parents, please be advised that the Education portion of our day camp programs has been cancelled for the summer 2010 schedule.

Dear Parents,

This summer, children ages 5-13 will enjoy exciting, fun-filled days at the Iona College Day Camp. For over 30 years, Iona has offered one of Westchester's finest camp experiences. Our athletic facilities serve as the setting for your child's exciting camp experience. All camp activities take place in the Hynes Athletics Center which houses a pool, basketball courts and dance studio, in conjunction with Mazzella athletic field. Your child will participate in numerous activities throughout the day including: basketball, soccer, softball/teeball, kickball, ultimate Frisbee, etc. Other activities include arts and crafts, dance and music.

The Iona College athletic staff, along with Iona College students, who are experienced in sports and education, will help campers learn new activities, improve their skills and have an unforgettable summer. Campers are placed in small groups and are supervised by counselors who ensure individualized attention.

Our swimming program is staffed by Red Cross certified lifeguards who watch and instruct the campers. Campers swim twice daily and are grouped according to their ability. Also, all swimmers can work toward their American Red Cross progression certification card.

The medical staff includes a camp nurse and athletic trainers who are qualified to treat any of your child's medical needs, if such a need arises.

We also offer camps for those children interested in different sports. Our hope is that every camper's needs and interests are fulfilled.
