Overview
Welcome to the Environmental Concerns Committee.
The mandate of the Environmental Concerns Committee is to raise awareness of the Iona Community with respect to the state of the environment, primarily through sponsorship of educational programs and activities, promotion of recycling and conservation, and acquisition of educational resource materials.

 Department Seminars

-Iona's campus-wide Paper Conservation Campaign earned national recognition from Campus Ecology Program of the National Wildlife Federation, a network of colleges and universities striving to be more environmentally sustainable.

Iona College is a charter member of the Environmental Consortium of Hudson Valley Colleges and Universities , an organization whose mission is to help shape the future of the regional and global environment through collaboration, education and research.
