The Information Systems teaching lab in Hagan 306 features state of art technology; 29 dual boot Apple iMac computers, capable booting in either Mac OS X or Win XP operating systems, several servers and Cisco switches that students can gain hands-on experience. Student desktops are also fully loaded with an array of IS-specific software applications for various classes including Microsoft Office, Visual Studio, Eclipse, SQL Server and other specialty programs.

The teaching lab in Hagan 306 supports many of the IS department's classes which teach students how to manage the many facets of Information Technology. The blending of theory and practice, positions students for rewarding careers in Information Systems. Example courses taught in Hagan 306 include Database Management, Telecommunications, Operations Management, Applications Development, Decision Support Systems, Internet Applications and Data Mining.

Teaches courses in Production and Operations Management, Information Systems, and Statistics. Research interests include Stochastic Service Systems, Speech Technology, and Quality Assurance.
