Effective managers are needed in all types of organizations, from small, family owned businesses to large multinational corporations, in both the public and private sector. The Management major is designed to help students start a career with broad managerial responsibility. The courses provide knowledge and skills in diverse areas, including organizational behavior, human resource management, international management, leadership, entrepreneurship and managerial decision making.
The Business Administration major is an interdisciplinary program with advanced courses from several business fields, designed to build a solid foundation in current business practices, provide essential managerial, financial, and marketing skills, and instill an understanding of the global nature of today's business environment. Business Administration offers diversification and a broad perspective, while giving students in depth knowledge of several business functions, as preparation for careers or graduate study.
