The Interoperability Requirement "Meaningful Use": What does this mean to you? The Healthcare Executive's Role in IT Decisions.

This Category I program will help you understand the Meaningful Use requirements of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act as it relates to the requirements for electronic exchange of medical records and interoperability as well as its impact on hospitals, physicians, long term care and health care providers.

A panel of Healthcare Executives will discuss their role in IT Decisions. They will present different view points on how to navigate, evolve and respond to the changing world of informatics. The discussion will begin with an introduction by Dr. Mary Helen McSweeney-Feld, Associate Professor and Program Director MBA in Healthcare Administration, Hagan School of Business, Iona College.
