The Internet is a great place to explore commercial, professional, and academic sites related to marketing.
Most major companies have commercial sites to promote their products. Some offer entertainment as well as information.
Information about the profession of marketing (including career and job placement assistance) can be accessed via the American Marketing Association, or its New York Chapter. The Center for Communication, offers low cost and free seminars and workshops in NYC that bring college students together with media professionals to explore emerging trends and issues. Check the website for a calendar of events and other career-related information. Marketing Virtual Library, an annotated guide to current marketing resources for students, educators and business professionals.
