For graduate students, we offer degree programs leading to the Master of Business Degree Requirements for the MBA Program This program is designed for candidates who wish to pursue the MBA degree on a full-time or part-time basis. The various curricula require 57 credits before waiver and transfer credits are applied. Appropriate course work at the undergraduate and graduate level may be applied against curriculum requirements. There is a six-year limit for the completion of the MBA degree. A typical MBA student will take 45 credits and complete the program in three years on a part-time basis or two years on a full-time basis. Courses are offered on a trimester basis, with classes starting in September, November, March and two Summer sessions beginning in June and July. Each course meets one evening per week for a three hour class, 6:30pm - 9:30pm Saturday courses meet 9:30am to 1:00pm Courses conducted during the summer meet twice a week. Geared toward people who want to gain an edge in their chosen field, the Fast Track MBA shaves 10 months off the length of traditional MBA programs by offering courses in a sequence that guarantees a speedy graduation. Associate Dean Charles Cante explained, “In today’s financially-focused world every professional needs to have business knowledge in order to remain competitive and prosper. Whether it’s the new medical doctor, dentist, lawyer or psychologist trying to build a successful practice or the scientist or engineer who wants to position their discovery or an educator who wants to become an administrator, the MBA degree is an essential and positive driving force towards these ends.”
MBA Core Courses (3 credits) The MBA curriculum is designed to provide a broad, integrative approach to business. The core includes: financial reporting, analysis and markets; domestic and global economic environment; creation and distribution of goods and services; and human behavior in organizations. The core courses lay the groundwork for courses in the field of concentration and related advanced courses. Business perspectives include ethical and global issues; the influence of political, social, legal and regulatory, environmental and technological issues; and the impact of demographic diversity on organizations. A student may have from 12 to 18 credits waived, though in cases of exceptional undergraduate preparation and previous graduate work, as many as 24 credits may be waived.

These courses are open only to company employees admitted into the MBA program.
