Program Details:

Advanced Certificates provide the opportunity for students to pursue specific areas of business at the graduate level. These certificates are designed to meet individual professional needs through a module of courses, constituting at least fifteen (15) credits, in a major field or in a highly specialized area of study. A cumulative index of at least 3.0 must be achieved in the program of study.

The advanced certificate programs are available at both the Westchester and Rockland campuses.

Admission:

These programs are open to holders of a bachelor's degree from regionally accredited schools, colleges or universities. A completed application file includes, in addition to the application form and $50 application fee:

• an official transcript
• current resume

Upon successful completion of the program of study, a certificate will be awarded to the student.

Health Care Information Systems	The Health Care Information Systems Advanced Certificate will prepare both the Information Systems and Health Care Professional with the wherewithal to manage the conversion of Health Care Organizations (Medical Offices, Hospitals, Testing Organizations and Long Term Care Organizations etc.) from a paper-based system to one based on information technology with systems that will be interoperable with each other.
