The Future of Globalization: Challenges and Opportunities in the Current Economic Environment

HAGAN (IONA) CIBER (UCONN) Summer Symposium will explore economic, political, social, and environmental interdependencies and interconnections in an international business and educational environment. Concurrent sessions will provide the opportunity for discussion of papers accepted for presentation, as well as special sessions concerning the changing business landscape given the enormous changes caused by the world financial crisis.

All current work involving international trade and/or training, human resource management or marketing, economics or education, environmental issues, and health care concerns will be considered for presentation. You are also invited to attend the Summer Symposium or to bring students (free with student i.d. card) to attend any or all sessions of the Symposium. The location is the campus of Iona College in New Rochelle.

This timely and informative event will open with a welcoming reception hosted by Dean Calluzzo of the Hagan School of Business on Friday, June 19, 2009, on the campus of Iona College. Light refreshments will be provided.
