Summer Program in Paris, France

Summer Session 2: End of May - End of June

Iona in France is a program offering four weeks of study in Paris. Students select two courses from:

• BUS 410 PA - The Role of Business in Contemporary American Society
• FAR 490 PA - History of Art
• HST 491 PA - History and Culture of France
• RST 425 PA - Medieval Christianity
• FRE 103 PA - Basic French
• PHL 210 PA - Moral Philosophy

Courses can be taken for core, elective, or major credit, and they are taught by Iona faculty members who travel to Paris with the students, and by other faculty based in Paris.

Students receive a total of 6 credits while studying and touring in the beautiful city of Paris. Classes are taught Monday through Thursday allowing students the opportunity to travel independently on the weekends.

Students reside in attractive facilities in Paris and participate in excursions to museums, monuments, and other noteworthy sites including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre Museum, Notre Dame de Paris, etc.

In order to participate in the Paris program, students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 by the end of the fall semester. Students on disciplinary probation at the time of departure will not be permitted to participate in this program.
