Federal Work-Study Program (FWS)
The Federal Work-Study Program (FWS) is a federally-sponsored work program for students who demonstrate financial need. FWS earnings are distributed in the form of a paycheck for hours worked, and cannot, therefore, be used toward tuition and fee charges.
On-campus Employment
Students who are not eligible for Federal Work-Study funding may be able to obtain part-time positions on-campus.Obtaining a Position and Getting Paid
Iona College uses a web-based service to help employers and students in the job posting and placement process.With this tool, students will be able to:
- Search for Work-Study jobs on line.
- Receive automated email when preferred jobs become available.
- Apply for jobs online.
We encourage students to review the Quick Reference Guide and to elect direct deposit of student employment earnings.

ATM now On-Campus!
Iona College is pleased to announce that a new Citibank ATM has been installed on the ground floor of the LaPenta Student Union Building, outside of the vending area. If you are a Citibank account holder there is no charge for using this ATM. Non-Citibank account holders will be charged a $2.00 per transaction fee by Citibank and any applicable fee assessed by their banking institution.
