These are funds from the college paid to the student.

Examples of Institutional Based aid are:

Scholarships and Grants

  • Iona College awards scholarships to outstanding students on the basis of their high school or college (in the case of transfer students) test scores and academic ability. These scholarships include: Academic Excellence, Iona Scholarship, Deans Scholarship, Iona Incentive, Transfer Scholarship, Pipers. These scholarships are determined by the admissions office at the time of acceptance to the college. They will remain the same for all four years provided the student maintains the agreed upon cumulative GPA and files a FAFSA annually by APRIL 15 each year.
