The cost of education today is a substantial investment, one which is likely to be your second largest next to a home purchase. If a student suffers serious illness or injury and cannot complete the term, the loss can amount to thousands of dollars. The Tuition Refund Plan will alleviate, if not eliminate, this financial loss by supplementing the Colleges own, much more limited, refund policy.
If you withdraw from classes because of a personal injury or sickness, this Plan will return:In addition to the above benefits, the plan also allows you to re-enter college without financial loss if a term must be repeated. This coverage is available to both full-time undergraduate students and graduate students.
For full-time undergraduate resident students, the premium is $293.00. For a non-resident student, the cost is $207.00. For graduate students the cost is dependent on the number of credits the student is enrolled in. For example, for a student enrolled in 8 credits, the cost is $49.00. For an enrollment of 6 credits, the cost is $37.00. The complete schedule of charges/credit is available on the A.W.G. Dewar website.
Iona College is pleased to offer the Tuition Refund Plan as an option for students and parents. We recommend that you avoid the risk of losing the college funds you worked so hard to secure by applying today. It is vital that undergraduate students choosing to use this service apply no later than Tuesday August 25, 2009. Graduate students must apply before the start date for each term for which they would like coverage. For more information or to apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
