Iona College offers merit-based scholarships to international students for both undergraduate and graduate programs.

Undergraduate Scholarships

In recognition of outstanding academic achievements, Iona College offers a number of academic scholarships for incoming freshmen.

Full tuition

Dean’s Scholarships

$23,000

Heritage Scholarship

$13,000 - $16,000

Awarded based on combination of SAT scores and cumulative GPA

Gael Scholarship

$6,000 - $9,000

Awarded based on combination of SAT scores and cumulative GPA

Sibling Awards

$1,500

for those with a sibling at Iona College; if you did NOT indicate this on your admissions application, please confirm your eligibility with admissions no later than May 1

Br. Daly Alumni Awards

$1,000

for those who are a son or daughter of an Iona undergraduate alumni; if you did NOT indicate this on your admissions application, please confirm your eligibility with admissions no later than May 1

Athletic Awards

Varies

for those being actively recruited for NCAA varsity athletics; arranged by the individual coaches in consultation with admissions

Scholarship  for Graduate/MBA Students

Edmund Rice Scholarship
The Edmund Rice Scholarship, named for Blessed Edmund Ignatius Rice, founder of the Congregation of Christian Brothers, is available to entering graduate or MBA students who have earned outstanding GRE or GMAT scores, or who have achieved high undergraduate cumulative grade point averages. Recipients must maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5.
