Many of the following federal government agencies have grant programs. Others listed here are useful sources of information in preparing grant proposals. This list is quasi alphabetical. Federal Departments, e.g. The United States Department of Commerce are listed under most specific word (e.g. Commerce). However, well known offices, bureaus, services, etc. are listed on their own, (e.g. IRS).
