Education and Work History:

Kenya J. Washington currently undertakes the position as Guidance Counselor at the United Nations International School. She is also an Adjunct Professor at John Jay College, CUNY and a self-employed Event Coordinator.

Kenya completed her undergraduate studies at Iona College in 2001, concentrating on Psychology with a minor in Spanish. She has since furthered her education, receiving her master degree from Teachers College at Columbia University.

Her long-term goals include working in a university setting in the capacities of teaching and/or personal counseling. She will continue her endeavor of being a self-employed Event Coordinator.

Activities:

Her community activities include active membership in Iona College Multicultural Alumni Chapter and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Hobbies:

Her hobbies include writing fiction, movies and collecting old monies.
