I am a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York.

My research interests are in the history of philosophy and the philosophy of art. I have published over 50 articles and reviews in  professional journals, and on numerous occasions I have lectured at and organized professional academic conferences. To complement my academic interests, I write poetry. I have had a volume of poetry published, and some of my work has appeared in national literary magazines.
