The
fifth scene is the night Kane’s wife learns about their affair in Susan’s
apartment. Kane is furious with his political opponent, who tells his wife the
truth. Kane yells at him at the front door, Then runs down the staircase
continuing to scream. He is not angry that his marriage is over, but that his
chance for a political career is lost. He
is worrying about himself, not his wife and child. I thought this was as odd scene because, standing at the front
door and yelling, Kane is not sure what to do.
The angles are focusing on Kane. There is a side view and a front view of
him.
