The
Invisible Man’s statement, “The truth is in the light and the light is
truth” is an example of a chiasmus. Chiasmus is Greek of X.
Used as a literary device it uses words to create a literary X. This
use of chiasmus is also present in the idea of “The end was in the beginning.”
The epilogue is seen in the prologue and vice-versa.
