The concept of a boomerang is interesting
because it does not simply mean that history is circular in nature.
Although it does mean this, The Invisible Man description has a more distressing
meaning. The boomerang implies that it circles without the person
recognizing it until it strikes. The individual becomes a victim
of history without having any knowledge that it will return.
