Sessions begin at 9:00am on Friday morning (February 23).  There are four sessions on Friday and Saturday (9:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm, and 4:00pm).  The conference ends on Sunday, February 25 at 12:30pm.  We expect to have at least 10 sessions running concurrently in each time block.

How to Get There:

• By Air
• This New York City location is convenient to three major airports, New York's LaGuardia Airport (LGA), New York's Kennedy Airport (JFK), and New Jersey's Newark Airport (EWR).
• Taxis are available; follow the airport's signs for Ground Transportation.  The city's "yellow" fleet, regulated by the New York City Taxi and Limousine Commission, consists of almost 12,000 licensed medallion taxis operating within five boroughs. Yellow medallion taxis are the only vehicles for-hire authorized to pick up street hails. • Airport shuttle vans are available for transportation from the airports to the hotel. 
• In case you are driving in from the airport, directions are provided below under the "By Car" section.
• By Train
• Take Amtrak to New York's Penn Station.  You can then reach the hotel by taxi (could cost about $5 or $6 depending on traffic; see taxi information above) or by subway (click here for New York City Subway Map). To reach the hotel by subway take the Uptown 1 or 9 train from Penn Station to the 50th street stop.  Walk south on Broadway; the hotel is located on Broadway between 48th and 49th streets.  (FYI: in New York City if one is walking north or south,  about 20 "city blocks" equal one mile, so this is about a one-tenth of a mile walk.)
• By Car
• From George Washington Bridge:  Take the Henry Hudson Parkway South.  Make a left at 48th Street, proceed 4 blocks.  Hotel driveway is one-half block on the left after crossing Eighth Avenue.
• From Lincoln Tunnel: Follow signs for 40th Street/West Side.  Make right onto 42nd Street, and a left onto Eighth Avenue.  Take Eighth Avenue north to 48th Street, turn right.  Hotel driveway is one-half block on left.
• From Brooklyn:  Cross East River to FDR Drive North.  Proceed to East 42nd Street exit.  On Third Avenue, turn right.  Proceed north to 49th Street, turn left, continue 7 blocks.  Hotel driveway is on the left after crossing Broadway.
• From Midtown Tunnel:  Take 38th-40th Street exit, turn right on Third Avenue.  Proceed to 49th Street, turn left, continue 7 blocks.  Hotel driveway is on the left after crossing Broadway.
• From LaGuardia Airport:  Take the Grand Central Parkway West toward the Triborough Bridge.  Take the parkway onto the bridge and stay to the right until the bridge forks.  Follow signs to Manhattan/FDR Drive South.  Take the FDR Drive South to East 49th Street exit.  Bear right and proceed west on 49th Street.  Hotel driveway will be on the left after crossing Broadway (Note:  East 49th Street will become West 49th Street after crossing Fifth Avenue).
• From Kennedy Airport:  Take the Van Wyck Expressway (678) North to the Long Island Expressway (495) West.  Take the LIE west through the Queens Midtown Tunnel.  Take the 38th-40th Street exit to Third Avenue.  Turn right on Third Avenue and proceed to East 49th Street.  Turn left on East 49th Street and proceed 7 blocks.  Hotel driveway will be on the left after crossing Broadway (Note:  East 49th Street will become West 49th Street after crossing Fifth Avenue).
• From Newark Airport:  Follow airport exit signs to New Jersey Turnpike (95) North.  Take Turnpike North following signs for Lincoln Tunnel.  Head east out of Tunnel to Eighth Avenue and turn left.  Proceed up Eighth Avenue to West 48th Street.  Turn right on West 48th Street.  Hotel driveway is one-half block on left.
