Marketing and Corporate Relations

The Iona College Division of Athletics offers a variety of signage and sponsorship opportunities that combine high visibility and brand name exposure to our Corporate Partners. These opportunities exist throughout the athletics fields and complexes, all of which provide differing levels of exposure to unique target audiences.

Signage options at Iona College provide our Corporate Partners with the opportunity for exposure to fans at the Mulcahy Athletic Center. In addition, corporate signage appears on both the Gaels and visiting teams regional and national television broadcasts, on the nightly news, and in newspaper and magazine action photos.

Signage options are broken down into the following categories:

THE MULCAHY CENTER

The Mulcahy Athletic Center is home to our men’s and women’s basketball programs and our women’s volleyball team. Additional traffic enters the gymnasium via our annual Clam Slam reception, campus tours, numerous summer camps (1600 campers during the summer of 2004), AAU tournaments, and concerts. The Mulcahy Athletic Center gymnasium seats 2611 and with innovative attendance driving promotions within a revamped athletic marketing department, we are sure to set record attendance figures for the 2004-2005 school year. Below, please find signage opportunities that are available at the Mulcahy Athletic Center.

SCOREBOARD

New to the 2004-2005 basketball season will be the addition of two 17’ x 12’ scoreboards in the Mulcahy Athletic Center gymnasium. Each scoreboard will have four areas for you to place your company’s logo.

There will be two (2) 4’0 x 3’6” areas and two (2) 2’9 x 1’5” areas per scoreboard. Placing your name on these scoreboards will also get you these great benefits:

Corporate Partners will receive:
• Two (2) season long Public Address announcements and corresponding electronic message center acknowledgements, recognizing your support of Iona athletics for each men’s and women’s basketball game played in the Mulcahy Athletic Center.
• One (1) sponsorship of a men’s basketball game and one (1) sponsorship of a women’s basketball game.
• Four (4) chair back seats to the sponsored games.
• The opportunity to sponsor a premium item handed out to fans at the sponsored game imprinted with both Iona College’s and your company’s logo on the item. (Production cost of the item incurred by sponsor).
• The opportunity to display your company’s literature at the sponsored games.
• Mention in radio and print advertisements for the sponsored games.
• Four (4) invitations to the Annual Meet the Coaches Kick-off Celebration.
• Four (4) invitations to the Annual Clam Slam at the Mulcahy Athletic Center.

Scorer’s table panels are available for both men’s and women’s basketball games. A total of one panel will be available. The panel is 8’ x 2’ and is located at floor level. All panels will be visible to the television viewing audience during regular season games that are broadcast.
