At Iona, parents occupy a very special place in the Iona community as an invaluable source of enthusiasm and support! All parents of Iona College are considered members of the Iona College Association of Parents upon the admission of their sons and daughters.

One of the most important ways in which all parents can express their support for the College is through participating in the College's sponsored events and by contributing to the Annual Fund.

Join the Parents' Board

Members of the Parents' Board work closely with the Annual Fund office to solicit donations from current parents and alumni parents for the Annual Fund. By raising unrestricted funds for the College each year, the donations enhance the quality of Iona College students' life and learning. Members are fully supported by the Annual Fund office, which provides necessary coordination and guidance.

Purchase an Iona College "Proud Parent" t-shirt or water bottle
Proceeds support the Senior Class Gift.
 
Volunteer at "Heritage Fest" during Heritage Week
April 18th from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Celebrate the heritage of Iona! Various events, performances and programs will be hosted on campus.
 
Help ICAP sponsor Finals Hospitality Night
May 10th and May 11th from 8:00 pm - Midnight
Provide or purchase dinner, snacks, refreshments etc. to relieve students during finals.
Volunteers can also help set up, serve and clean up.

GREASE
When: Thursday, February 25 - Saturday, February 27
Where: Doorley Auditorium

Volunteer at the spring Open House, TBD
Meet and greet perspective students and their families. Sponsored by the Admissions
Office.
 
Sponsor a Hospitality Supper, every Thursday at 5:30 pm
Prepare or purchase an entrée or dessert to serve 100 students.
 
Sponsor a Mid-Night Run, Ongoing
Provide or purchase sandwiches or other food-items to be delivered to NYC homeless.
 
Host a reception after a Sunday Mass, every Sunday
Provide or purchase light refreshments, coffee, desserts etc. after a Sunday Mass.
Volunteers can also help set up and serve.
