Giving Opportunities

THE PRESIDENT'S CLUB
The President’s Club includes donors who have contributed a minimum of $1,000 to the Annual Fund or the Goal Club or whose contributions to both of these funds total $1,000 or more. Representing loyal trustees, alumni, faculty/staff/administrators, parents and friends, the group continues to grow in size and level of support.

Current members of The President’s Club are invited each year to the Presidential Leadership Series (which features a nationally-renowned speaker).

Members also receive:
preferred seating at basketball games
invitations to Iona's special events, including theater performances, art gallery exhibits and faculty lectures
borrowing privileges at the College's libraries

Driscoll Associates – $5,000 to $9,999
Loftus Associates – $2,500 to $4,999
1940 Society – $1,940 to $2,499
Iona Associates – $1,000 to $1,939

THE BLESSED EDMUND RICE SOCIETY
This distinctive society was created in honor of the beatification of Blessed Edmund Ignatius Rice in 1996. The Mission of Iona College is inspired by the legacy and spirit of Edmund Rice and strives to provide a strong, value-centered education for its students. With contributions of $25,000 or more to the Annual Fund each year, members of the Blessed Edmund Rice Society exemplify the spirit and charity of Edmund Rice.

CORNELIA CIRCLE
Brother William B. Cornelia was the founding president of Iona College in 1940. The Cornelia Circle honors his memory by acknowledging donors who have contributed between $500 and $999 to the Annual Fund.

DEAN'S CIRCLE
Members of the Dean's Circle contribute between $250 and $499 to the Annual Fund.

COLUMBA CIRCLE
St. Columba founded a world-famous educational center on the island of Iona, for which the College was named. Members of this Circle donate between $100 and $249.

FRIENDS FUND
Members of the Friends Fund are frequently among the newest supporters of the Annual Fund and contribute between $1 and $99.

PARENTS FUND
Contributions to the Parents' Fund by parents of current and former students help to ensure a future of promise for generations of Iona College students.

GOAL CLUB

The Iona College Goal Club, which provides support to the Athletics Department, is critical to the 400 student-athletes and 21 NCAA Division I athletic programs that take place on Iona's campus. These contributions are restricted to provide student-athletes with the necessary skills to compete both athletically and scholastically.

THE GINKGO TREE SOCIETY
Those who have achieved membership in this society have realized this special distinction by donating a cumulative total of $100,000 or more to the Annual Fund throughout the years. Ginkgo Tree Society members are recognized with a special plaque at the heart of the campus beneath the famous ginkgo tree.

THE LEGACY SOCIETY
Membership in this group is awarded to those dedicated alumni, friends, and parents who have told us that they have included Iona College in their estate planning through a bequest in their wills, establishment of a trust, purchase of a life insurance policy, or contribution of IRA's.
