Did you know that tuition covers only part of the total cost of an Iona education? The remaining costs are paid for by gifts from alumni, parents, friends, corporations and foundations. Gifts to the College enable us to meet the increasing demands of our students for technology innovations, for scholarship support, and for other improvements to student and campus life.

Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is one of the key ways that Iona College raises unrestricted funds to support its operating costs. These important annual contributions help to fund many areas of the College such as scholarships, books, academic programs, faculty development, research and technology and building and grounds maintenance, among others. Capital Campaign
These gifts are raised for special projects, such as a new building or endowment fund. A contribution to support a new building such as the Robert V. LaPenta Student Union or Hynes Athletics Center is an example of a capital gift. Find out more

Scholarships
The Scholarship Stewardship Office works with donors to establish and increase the scholarships available to Iona students. The donors to a named scholarship work with the College to develop a set of criteria for selecting each named scholar. Find out more

Sponsorships
Donations from corporate sponsors help defray expenses of student, alumni or community programs or events such as Homecoming and Family Weekend, the Trustee Award Dinner Dance and Reunion Weekend, among others. Find out more

Goal Club
The Goal Club is an association of dedicated alumni and friends who support Iona’s 21 Division I teams. Annual membership to the Goal Club provides the needed equipment, facility upgrades, team transportation and academic support for our student-athletes. Find out more
