Endowed Scholarships provide the resources to endow a range of Academic Scholarships, Iona will legitimize itself as a competitor within the upper echelon of American higher education by attracting and enrolling some of the most talented minds in the country. This increase in Scholarships will allow Iona to recruit top-notch students from a wider geographic area and entice them to select Iona rather than schools current in the College's aspirant group. Their presence in the classroom, laboratories, social organizations, and other aspects of campus life will raise the performance levels and expectations of fellow students, faculty members, and the Iona community in general.
