Information on CELTIC Equipment Loans to Faculty

• The following equipment is available for short-term loans:
• Laptops
• Projectors
• Cameras (video and photo)
• Web Cams
• In order to better serve you, we ask that you give us at least a 48 hr. advance notice for equipment loan requests. This is the minimum time required for requests to be processed in order to ensure the loan procedure runs smoothly.
• Please note that during the beginning and end of the semester, CELTIC receives a large number of equipment requests. We recommend requesting equipment as far in advance as possible.
• Please fill in all required information on the Equipment Loan Request Form. We need this information before the request can be processed.
• We are a faculty support center. For this reason, CELTIC equipment is for faculty use only.
• We have a limited amount of equipment and need to support as many faculty members as possible; therefore, equipment is available for short-term loans only.
• All equipment must be picked-up and returned in person by the faculty member receiving the loan. We recommend you schedule pick-up and return dates that fit your availability.
• We strongly recommend that you take time to test and familiarize yourself with your loan item during check-out.
• Due to software license issues, laptops are loaned equipped as is. Additional software cannot be installed on them. Please refer to the computer use policy for more details about the appropriate use of Iona computing equipment.
• Please allow time to return equipment, as we need to process the item back into our inventory upon check-in. This typically takes about ten minutes.
