New Features:

Course Home Page
The course entry page is now the Dashboard Home Page. Students can quickly see what new content has been added to the course or when assignments and tests are due.

Notifications
Choose to receive an email (individual or daily) when changes are made to your courses.

Assignments
Assignments replaces the Digital Dropbox. Create an Assignment for each paper you assign. For Groups, instructors have the ability to assign a single grade to the group without losing the ability to override an individual's grade. Instructors can download all assignments together, organized by student username.

Course Files
Course Files is a repository for your course documents, for each class. It is storage space for the instructor and allows you upload files from your computer, even using drag and drop, to quickly upload multiple documents at once. From Course Files, you can then distribute the content throughout your course. You can even find documents in your other courses to add to the current course.

Groups
New features have been added to groups, such as random distribution or student signup. Inside groups, students can create discussion boards, set tasks, exchange files, submit papers, and more. Students now see group memberships below the course menu on each page of the course.

Removed Features:

Digital Dropbox
The more robust Assignments tool and the Group File Exchange meets the needs of individual users and groups for completing and managing course work.

Student Homepages
Create a discussion forum, to allow students to post information and a photo of themselves.
