  1. When will the Blackboard upgrade happen and how do I access the new version of Blackboard?
    • The upgrade to Blackboard Learn 9.1 will be complete on August 18. After the upgrade is complete, all faculty and students will access Blackboard Learn the same way you have accessed Blackboard previously.
  2. How will I access my courses from the last version of Blackboard?
    • You will have full access to all your previous courses in the Blackboard database.
  3. Is the new version very different?
    • Blackboard Learn 9.1 has several important differences for Instructors. In the new version the "Digital Drop Box" area has been replaced by the Assignment Tool feature. Another difference you will notice is the "Control Panel" area is now located on the navigation bar. All of the "Instructor" course management features are available in the main instructor view.
