Faculty Grants and Awards

The CELTIC Awards have been suspended for the 2012-13 academic year. CELTIC remains committed to the support of faculty creativity. Over the next year, the faculty awards will be reviewed to ensure the program's alignment with the goals of faculty development and pedagogical innovation.

Presidential Teaching Scholar

The Presidential Teaching Scholar is selected from among the most accomplished teachers on the faculty. The Faculty Advisory Committee will seek nominations for the Presidential Teaching Scholar Award and make recommendations to the Provost for approval.

CELTIC Excellence in Teaching Awards

For projects whose primary purpose is the enhancement of learning and teaching, i.e., leads to specific improvements in teaching effectiveness that will have an impact on student learning. A maximum of three awards will be given.

Faculty Instructional Technology Awards

For projects whose primary purpose is the integration of computer technology in teaching. A maximum of two awards will be given.
