Understanding Blackboard Course Retention Policy
Important Notice: Deletion of Blackboard Course Sites on June 8, 2009
According to new Iona policy, all Blackboard Learning Management System courses created prior to and including Spring 2007 courses (Winter Trimester 06—WT06, January Intersession 07—WI07, Spring Semester 07—SS07, and Spring Trimester 07—ST07) will be deleted on June 8, 2009. This is the second and last notification to Blackboard instructors. View the Policy and supporting document above.
You can review the list of course sites slated for deletion on the Iona Intranet.
Please Note: The list is sorted by instructor ID, not last name.
You will be prompted to enter your network id and password to access the document. You can also review your list of courses slated for deletion on your Blackboard courses page by looking for course names with extensions SS07 and ST07 and earlier.
Video and print tutorials on archiving Blackboard course sites are available on the CELTIC web site.
CELTIC staff members are available Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at 914-633-2146, to answer questions and provide Blackboard training.
