Networking is responsible for supporting both the academic and administrative network connectivity, maintaining the campus-wide WAN and providing software support. Immediate live assistance is available between 8:00am and 6:00pm Monday through Friday. Emergency assistance is available after hours.

Student organizations, faculty, administrators and staff who need computer systems, peripherals and software for departmental use must purchase these items through PC Acquisitions. Consulting services are available to assist students and other members of the Iona community with the selection of a personal computer. PC Acquisitions can be reached at (914) 633-2651.

Graphics is here to assist you in designing many of your printed and on line publications. Materials such as departmental brochures, postcards, office forms and mailers can be designed and produced in house and converted to PDF files for use on the web. We work closely with the Advancement & Duplicating departments to help maintain College branding standards and ensure print quality. Services are available to all Faculty, Staff, and Administrative offices. Please contact the Graphics Department Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm at 633-2359 for details and scheduling. You can also visit us on the ground level of McSpedon Hall.

Administrative computing is responsible for the installation, customization, maintenance, and problem resolution of the hardware and systems software that support the administrative offices of the College. The principal systems are PeopleSoft for the Administrative Offices and Endeavor's Voyager for Ryan Library. Hardware and systems software includes web servers, application servers, database servers, and authentication servers.

Data Communications maintains data flow across the entire wired and wireless network infrastructure. This is done through continuous monitoring of the networks backbone to find and correct any issues that would cause a network slow down, such as computer viruses. Data communications also installs, maintains, and upgrades all data switches, routers, cabling plant, and wireless access points to ensure Iona's infrestructure can handle the increasing demands of its users.

Workstation Services provides hardware support for faculty, staff, and administrators. The primary function of workstation services is to install, maintain, and upgrade all computer related hardware on campus for the end users, including, student labs. This is a continuous process that insures technology is up to date and operational on campus.

The Web Support Team provides web design, development, training, and support services to faculty and web updaters of the Iona College website.
