Wiping the data from the phone on a Iona.edu account
- Go to a computer and log-in to Iona web email (email.iona.edu)
- On the top right click on Options
- Then on the left side you will see the link to Mobile Devices click on it
- If you have multiple devices. Click on the Device that was synced the most recently. If there is only one then click on that device.
- Then click on Wipe All Data from Device...
- When it asks you if you would like to be emailed when wiped check yes.
Once you have wiped the Iona College cell phone. You need to place a work order in with the Help Desk. This way they can get someone to suspend the phone line. If the line is left active the user will be able to make calls on your lost/stolen phone.
Wiping the data from the phone on a Gaels.Iona.edu account
- Go to a computer and log-in to Iona web email (outlook.com)
- On the top right click on Options
- Select See All Options...
- Then on the left side you will see the link to Phone click on it
- If you have multiple devices. Click on the Device that was synced the most recently. If there is only one then click on that device.
- Then click on Wipe All Data from Device...
Once you have wiped the cell phone. You will need to call your cell phone provider to suspend the phone line. If the line is left active the user will be able to make calls on your lost/stolen phone.

Changing your Network Password on Campus for a Lost/ Stolen Phone
- If on Campus log-on to a computer
- Once logged-in click Ctrl, Alt, and Delete
- You will see the option Change a Password...
- Click on it and change your password
Changing your Network Password off Campus for Lost/Stolen Phone
- On a computer go to www.iona.edu
- Click on Quick Links
- Then click on Netpass
- Type in your User Name and the Special Character
- Then place your current password in where required
- Now create a new password where required.
