A variety of scholarship opportunities are available for Iona graduate
students. Please refer to the course catalog for complete eligibility
requirements.
Archdiocesan Scholarship: Full-time teachers, administrators,
and guidance counselors employed by Catholic elementary and secondary schools
in the Archdiocese of New York may receive a tuition scholarship equal
to one-third of graduate tuition for a maximum of six credits per semester.
Edmund Rice Scholarship: Available to entering graduate students who have earned outstanding GRE scores, or who have achieved high undergraduate cumulative grade point averages. The Edmund Rice Scholarship is $500 per three credit course. Maintenance of a minimum GPA of 3.5 is required to retain the scholarship.
Iona College Alumni Scholarship: Awarded to students who completed an undergraduate degree at Iona College. The scholarship is 10% of graduate tuition.
Graduate Assistantships: Assistantships provide tuition scholarships and require an average of 20 hours of work per week. They are available on a competitive basis. Applications may be obtained from the Office of Admissions, or the Office of the Dean, School of Arts and Science.
Residence Hall Campus Ministries: Part-time residential positions are available for graduate students who work for the Center for Campus Ministries. As residence hall campus ministers, students receive room and board.
Financial aid packages are constructed such that each student receives the single scholarship that provides the greatest amount of financial assistance. Students must complete the FAFSA every year by the required deadline to receive these scholarships.
Strategically positioned between the Tappan Zee and George Washington bridges, the Iona's Rockland Graduate Center boasts high-tech classrooms, computer labs, a library, a lounge, conference rooms and administrative offices.
