The
Master of Science in Educational Technology is a 36-credit degree program.
This program will enable initially certified teachers to gain professional
New York State certification in all subject areas. For more information on certification, please see www.nysed.gov.
The degree is offered in the evening on a semester schedule on both the
New Rochelle and Rockland County campuses. The average time to complete the degree
is two years. Most students in this program work full-time and pursue their
degree on a part-time basis, averaging six credits per semester. The degree
requires 30 credits in core courses and six credits in electives chosen
in consultation with your faculty advisor.
The Certificate in Educational Technology is a 15 credit, five
course program. It is designed for those already possessing at least a
bachelor’s degree. Courses from the certificate may be used toward
completion of the master’s degree, with approval from the Department
and the Office of the Dean.
