Master of Science in Telecommunications
How fast does technology change?
This degree can prepare you for jobs that don't even exist yet.

Master of Science in TelecommunicationsThe Master of Science in Telecommunications is a 36-credit program offered on weekday evenings on a semester schedule on both the New Rochelle and Rockland County campuses. Summer and on-line courses are also available. Most students in this program work full-time and pursue their degree on a part-time basis, averaging six credits per term. The degree requires 12 courses in core courses, 18 credits in electives chosen in consultation with your advisor, and a capstone experience of a thesis or project.

Iona welcomes career changers without a computing or telecommunications background to take transition courses in programming and mathematics to prepare to enter the program. Graduate advisors will help you to determine the appropriate courses based upon your background. Those needing the transition courses may require additional time towards completion of the degree.

A 15 credit, 5 course Certificate in Telecommunications is also available. There are two tracks: Networks and Web System Development.
