Thomas Paine National Historical Association Collection

Iona College and Ryan Library are proud to be the custodians of the Thomas Paine National Historical Association (TPNHA) Collection

The collection consists of more than 200 items created in the 18th and 19th centuries comprised of monographs, pamphlets, booklets, periodicals, tokens, and ephemera. Professional and personal papers of Paine including, texts, pamphlets or letters written or published by Paine himself. There are multiple first or early edition copies of Paine's famous writings including, Common Sense, Rights of Man and Agrarian Justice.
