How do I cite sources?

You can't just make up your own way to cite sources. Instead, you need to choose and apply one of the official Citation Styles. Some examples of Citation Styles include:

APA - American Psychological Association - used in the sciences and social sciences

MLA - Modern Language Association - used mostly in the humanities

Chicago or Turabian - used mainly in the humanities and history

Your professor will probably tell you which of these styles to use. If not, ASK!
