Challenges

Bryan told Joe that he was having trouble finding information on the World Wide Web. He could find a lot of web pages, but most of them were not what he wanted, and a lot of them were "junk".

So there are two challenges here:

searching for web sites on a certain subject
finding GOOD information that you can depend on

The first thing we will discuss is how to choose the right web searching tool, depending on your information need.

Then we'll talk about how you can evaluate the web pages you find and determine their quality as information sources.
