Schedule a Library Class

We are available to teach classes days, evenings and weekends at both the New Rochelle and Rockland campuses.

Please complete a separate form for each class requested. You will be contacted by a librarian who will confirm the date, time, and place for the class and, if necessary, request additional information.

The goals of bibliographic instruction are to teach students how to find and evaluate books, articles, web sites and other sources needed for class research assignments as well as personal research interests. In addition, students are informed about library services and resources available to them. Classes are taught by trained research librarians who will work with you to plan a class which will be most relevant to your students' needs. Normally, classes last for an entire class period. More than one class session may be arranged if desired. Classes may be scheduled during weekday, evening, and weekend hours. Requests must be made one week or more in advance of the class date.

Library Instruction classes will normally be held in the Technology Instruction Classroom 308 on the third floor of Ryan Library.

For more information contact Adrienne Franco, Reference and Instructional Services Librarian, at (914) 633-2348.
