The Reference Collection

The Reference Collection includes, but is not limited to, encyclopedias, dictionaries, guides and handbooks, directories, bibliographies, and atlases, both general and subject-specific. The purpose of the reference collection is to support our curriculum and to supply background and specific information. Reference books may not be taken from the Reference Room without special permission from the Reference Librarian.

Reference Librarians

Librarians are available to provide expert assistance to all patrons. Whether locating materials to meet research needs, aiding in the use of the library catalog or our numerous electronic databases, or searching for obscure information on the Internet, we are happy to get you whatever you need.For assistance, stop by the Reference Desk in Ryan Library. The Reference Desk is staffed with a Librarian during most library hours.
