Gallery Exhibition: "Street Legal - Gratiffyti: Seslow & Borbay on Canvas"
Now - Thursday, February 23
Meet the Artist Gallery Tour:
Thursday, February 16, 6:30 pm

The Brother Kenneth Chapman Gallery
Iona College Arts Center

A notion verses the actuality of street art - two varying concepts, yet one in the same. By way of color, collage, composition and explosive impressionism, artists Borbay and Ryan Seslow delve into the pulse of "Gotham," on canvas, on board, off the tax payers ledger. This exhibition biopsies the street art experience, with no mention of the inside, or outside, of a box.
Admission: free.

Theatre Performance: The Drowsy Chaperone presented by The Iona Players
Saturday, February 25, 8:00 pm; Sunday, February 26, 3:00 pm;
Thursday - Saturday, March 1, 2, 3, 8:00 pm - Doorley Auditorium, Doorley Hall

The Drowsy Chaperone pays tribute to the Jazz-age shows of the 1920s and the power of those shows help to transport us into a dazzling fantasy and to lift our spirits in times of sadness. It boldy addresses a great unspoken desire in all of our hearts; to be entertained. It all begins when a die-hard musical-theater fan plays his favorite cast album on his turntable, and the musical literally bursts to life in his living room, telling the rambunctious tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find, and keep her, true love. Co-sponsored by the Office of Student Development.
Admission: $10 general, $5 Iona College Community.
