Employee Guide for Media Requests

Under Advancement and External Affairs, the Public Relations Office, monitors all press and media inquiries. On occasion, employees may receive calls and inquiries from reporters and other media representatives. Employees are not authorized to respond to media inquiries or discuss these matters with media representatives unless expressly authorized to do so by the Public Relations Office. To ensure that the information we release is correct, consistent and in accordance with the College policy, we request that all employees should immediately refer any media inquiry to the Public Relations Office at x2726.

Faculty Guide for Media Requests

Under Advancement and External Affairs, the Public Relations Office, monitors all press and media inquiries. On occasion, faculty may receive calls and inquiries from reporters and other media representatives. As a faculty expert you may be contacted directly by members of the press for a quote or commentary on a particular subject matter. To ensure that the request is from a legitimate news source and that our office is aware of all pending articles, we ask that you contact the Public Relations Office at x2726 to let us know whether or not you are participating. We may also be able to refer the reporter to other faculty experts if you are not available for comment.

Reporter's Guide for Media Requests

The Office of Public Relations answers journalists' questions about the College, as well as arranges for and coordinates interviews and video or photo shoots. We publicize and handle media relations for major events, and serve as a liaison between faculty experts and media outlets.
