at Iona College
College's Council on the Arts Offers Dance and Theatre on its Spring

New Rochelle, NY, January 29, 2001 - On Sunday, February 18, 2001, at
3 pm, in Joyce Auditorium on Iona's New Rochelle campus, 715 North
Avenue, the Westchester Chamber Orchestra, conducted by founder and artistic
director, Barry Charles Hoffman, will feature oboe soloist Matt Sullivan
performing works by John Corigliano (winner of an Oscar for his film
score for "The Red Violin") and by Ralph Vaughn Williams.
The public is welcome to attend. Ticket prices are $20 for general admission,
$18 for seniors and $10 for students.
The Iona College Council on the Arts is funded by the Baron Lambert
Fund for the Arts, through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Murphy.
Coming attractions funded for spring 2001 include "A Comedy by Moliere," the
world premiere of "Calamity Jane" and the Iona Dance Ensemble.
