Comedy Troop Launched Many Stars of Saturday Night Live

New Rochelle, NY, February 1, 2001 - The "Second City" comedy troop will perform at Iona College on Saturday, February 17, 2001, at 8 pm in Joyce Auditorium on the College's New Rochelle campus, 715 North Avenue.

Originating in Chicago, alumni of this enduring comic group include the celebrities Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Mike Myers, Chris Farley, John Candy and Gilda Radner, just to name a few. Considered first in comedy for more than 40 years, The New York Times reports that "the comedy of 'Second City' is still number one."

Enjoy a great evening of entertainment at affordable prices. Tickets can be purchased at the Office of Student Development on the Iona campus. Advance tickets cost $10 and tickets purchased at the door are $15.
