College campus.
The highlight of the day is the Homecoming Carnival, featuring rides
and entertainment for children of all ages, including a giant slide,
the Colossal Bounce and a Pop-A-Shot football game. The fun includes
a caricaturist, vendors selling novelty items including Irish knits and
jewelry, food, free soft drinks, great entertainment and chances to win
great prizes on numerous raffles.
Activities begin at 11 am with Athletic Director Richard Petriccione
'81, '95MS, and his coaching staff providing an update on Iona athletics.
Alumni will also view, first- hand, the gym's recent and ongoing renovations.
In addition, tours of Iona's new Arts Center, located on North Avenue,
will be available at 12 noon and 12:30 pm, originating from the steps
of Spellman Hall. The gallery will remain open for viewing until 3 pm.
The football action starts at 1 pm as Iona's Gaels host St. Peter's
